I was most pleased with the improved suspension, which is now softer and generally better at absorbing impacts, as the previous model could annoyingly withstand shocks in the back when hitting holes. If I craved a little adrenaline, I would just open the throttle and tilt it deep into a corner and we were already flying, but the Tuscan turns made me laugh from ear to ear. It is also fully cultivated when you ride and enjoy the surroundings, smell the surrounding nature and the pulse of the villages.
In the end, they had an even smaller surprise for us and drove us down a gravel road where I was able to use the Scrambler to summon a cloud of white dust behind me and I drifted smoothly through the corners. It is at moments like these that the successful design of the entire bike comes into play, with a low center of gravity, very usable power and torque, and above all suspension and wheels that can also absorb bumps. The Ducati Scrambler is a kind of two-wheeled sport utility vehicle, modern, useful and fun that anyone can ride. To ride in style, you don't need fancy equipment, just an open-face helmet, sneakers or sunglasses, a jacket, denim pants, more durable shoes, light gloves and that's it.
