What to look for before driving a car?
The last bell rang within the school walls, and for many families it was time for holidays and recreation outside the city. We often decide to travel with our own car. However, before you go on a long vacation, for example, to the sea, let's make sure that there are no unpleasant surprises along the way.
Let's start with a registration check when our car was last inspected. If we have exceeded the allowed period, we will definitely go to the inspection station. If our car has recently been inspected, we can check the general technical condition of the car ourselves.

Convertible roof maintenance
The ABC of a driver preparing for a trip consists of several points:
liquids - check the amount of fluid in the washer fluid. Its absence can greatly complicate the road and, above all, affect driving safety. So let's fill the containers, and keep the liquid in the trunk just in case. It is also important to check the fluid level in the radiator and look at the brake fluid reservoir - each has a scale indicating what condition it should be in.
Wipers - even a full tank of fluid will not help if the wipers are in poor condition. Let's check the condition of the wiper tires - if there are any damages on them that can cause inaccurate collection of water. Then before leaving it will be necessary to install new ones.
Tires – Tire pressure should be checked for two reasons: safety and economy, because too low pressure will lead to more fuel consumption and faster tire wear.
Light and sound signal - let's check if all the outside lights are working and if our horn is working. You may find that you need to replace any burnt out light bulbs. It is also worth having a complete set of basic bulbs so as not to get a ticket.
butter – be sure to check the oil level. This operation must be carried out on a cold engine. It is also worth looking under the car and checking for leaks, i.e. greasy spots.
Finally, let's make sure we have: spare tire in good condition, warning triangle, replacement bulbs, fire extinguisher and first aid kit. These are obvious things, but often drivers who are convinced that they have everything run the risk of being fined.

It turns out that the triangle is out of order, and the fire extinguisher or first aid kit is no longer working.
It is also worth having a reflective vest. This is required not only in Poland, but also, for example, in the Czech Republic, Austria and Slovenia.
If the car on which we are going on a trip is not yet prepared for the summer season, we should definitely go to a diagnostic station or service. Professionals will check the condition of our car: suspension, steering and brake system, as well as replace the tires with summer ones. Only when we do some repairs, you can safely hit the road.
