The National Fund for Environment and Water Management has started applying for subsidies. "Recommended for funding" from readers

Our readers have been applying for an electric car surcharge since the start of the campaign, June 26, 2020. Now, after almost two months of lack of feedback, the car suddenly screeched and pulled away. For several days now, you've been bragging about your applications getting initial approval.

Your application has been confirmed positively

Two months of terrible, empty silence, which even representatives of the National Fund for the Environment and Water Management did not want to comment on, do not make a very good impression. Moreover, the message on the NFEPWM website is clear: "Applications will be evaluated on an ongoing basis."

Fortunately, the holiday season is coming to an end because Our Readers who are the first to submit documents for co-financing are notified of a positive initial verification... According to the regulations (clause 3), they now have the following steps:

  1. addition of missing information (up to 7 days from the date of receipt of the request),
  2. clarification of the terms of co-financing (up to 10 days),
  3. decision on funding subsidies (up to 13 days from the end of the quality assessment),
  4. preparation and signing of an agreement with the applicant (up to 16 days from the date of the decision).

Paragraph 3 is a key event beyond the control of the applicant: the NFEPWM board must decide to subsidize 344 (or less) electric vehicles for a total of PLN X thousand.

Once the decision is made, the Fund has 16 days to send the project financing agreement, that is, the grant contract, to the applicants. It is worth remembering that the date of signing the contract is not a guideline for the date of purchase... The car could have been purchased earlier, that is, on the day of application or after it (clause 6 of the Access Criteria).

The amount of the grant is 15 percent of the purchase price, but not more than PLN 18. The maximum purchase price for a car (invoice value) is PLN 750. Grants in excess of this amount will not be awarded.
