Vehicle reliability 4-5 years according to TÜV
After compiling the reliability rating of 2-3-year-old cars, let's imagine another age category, namely 4-5-year-old dads. However, there is no change, and the ranking of the most reliable cars is again dominated by German and Japanese cars.
However, this year we can say that the German technique is slightly superior to the Japanese. Cars from other countries have their representative at the 33rd place of Hyundai Getz.
Of the French, Renault Modus is the best at 47th with 9,0%, as the only Gallic rooster in the country scored an above average 10,4%. In the case of Italian cars, no representative was able to score above average, with Panda Panda being the best in 78th place with 12,0% of significant defects. The Mladá Boleslav automaker Škoda is represented in the assessment of cars aged 4 to 5 years by two models. Škoda Octavia ranked 37th (8,4%) and improved 2 places from (3-26 years) while Fabia ranked 78th so it lost 44 places below the average (11,6. XNUMX%).
In general, there is an increase in the number of refusals. If last year 9,9% of cars aged from 4 to 5 years had significant defects, this year they increased to 10%.

Every year, the German technical inspections carried out by TÜV in selected states are a valuable source of information on the quality of the rolling stock running on German roads. This year's ranking is based on data collected over a 12-month period from July 2009 to June 2010. Statistics include only those models for which a sufficient number of checks (more than 10) have been carried out and thus can be compared with others (statistical significance) and comparability of data).
A total of 7 inspections were included in the study. The result of each of them is a protocol containing minor, serious and dangerous defects. Their meaning is similar to the Slovak STK. A car with a minor defect (that is, one that does not threaten traffic safety) receives a mark confirming its suitability for use, a car with a serious defect will receive a mark only after the defect has been eliminated and if you have a car. which a technician detects a dangerous malfunction, you will not leave on your own axis.
