The DVR market is saturated with various models in a wide price range. The most expensive ones have their own undeniable charms, but there are also many cheap offers that may interest us. Such a model is Navitel HP200 HB.
The big advantage of the Navitel DVR is its small external dimensions (53/50/35 mm). This advantage allows you to place the device quite discreetly on the windshield of a car, for example, behind a rear-view mirror. The case itself makes a good impression, although its design is not very modern, but this, of course, is a matter of taste.
The recorder is attached to the windshield with a classic suction cup. This is an effective solution, but the pen itself is not very convenient to use if you are going to remove and insert the recorder into it frequently. It is better to remove it with a suction cup, which we did throughout our test.
The NR200 NV is equipped with MStar MSC8336 processor, Night Vision SC2363 optical sensor and 4-layer glass lens.
The MStar MSC8336 ARM Cortex A7 800MHz processor is very often used in DVRs from Far Eastern manufacturers and is the main equipment of Navitel DVRs.
The SC2363 Night Vision optical sensor with a 2-megapixel matrix is also quite popular in budget DVRs and sports cameras.
The DVR allows you to record videos with Full HD resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second.

Four micro buttons located on the side of the case are used to control all the functions of the recorder. This is a typical system for many DVRs and a similar solution when it comes to accessing individual features or programming them.

The color screen has a diagonal of 2 inches (approx. 5 cm) and a resolution of 480×240 pixels. Not much, but it must also be said directly that the purpose of such a screen is only to preview the recordings or the possibility of programming the device. If we want to watch recordings, then rather on a computer monitor. And given these criteria, he fully fulfills his role.

The NR200 NV performs quite well in good to medium lighting conditions. Color reproduction is good, although sometimes (for example, when driving in the sun) there are problems with light compensation.
Worse after dark and at night. While the overall picture is legible (although there are occasional color blemishes), details such as license plates are already difficult to read.
The Navitel registrar is a budget device. Considering that we do not want to capture on him the views from the trip, but that he should be a possible witness or silent witness to certain events on the road, his role will be fulfilled. Apart from some of its shortcomings, for a little over a hundred zlotys we get quite a decent device that we can just come in handy.
