Nissan Leaf vs BMW i3 vs Renault Zoe vs e-Golf - Auto Express test. Winner: Electric Nissan

Auto Express has conducted a large-scale comparison of the most popular electric vehicles: the new Nissan Leaf, BMW i3, Renault Zoe and VW e-Golf. The best result was the Nissan Leaf, followed by the VW e-Golf.

Auto Express praised the new Nissan for its long range (243 km), reasonably priced, and a package of new technologies included in the package, including the e-Pedal mechanism that allows you to drive the car without using the brake pedal.

In second place is VW e-Golf. The reporters loved his solid German performance and the unobtrusive characteristic Volkswagen style. I did not like the acceleration and poor power reserve of the car (201 km).

The third place was taken by the BMW i3, the fourth by the Renault Zoe. BMW has been praised for its large space, good performance and the feeling of being in touch with a premium car. They were reproached for the high price, which is especially acute in the BMW i3s. Renault Zoe, in turn, was considered a rather slow and aging car.

Hyundai Ioniq Electric and the new Kia Soul EV were not included in the test - sorry.
