Nissan Qashqai + 2 2.0 dCi 4WD Premium

If you like Qashqai + 2, there can be quite a few reasons for this. First, you like him because you simply like him. His appearance. The Qashqai+2 is also a car that offers all the goodness you can get when you sit in it.

The seat height is about the height of the buttocks, so the current does not require much effort, everything inside is somehow in the right place and mostly intuitively accessible, all the main switches are easy to operate, the driving position is pleasant. and the view is very good.

It is later revealed that even with this Nissan, they were unable to place the button to bypass the trip computer suggestion in a more sensible place (it is still in a dangerous place next to the sensors) and that the side grip of the seats, especially on the seat, is ineffective. This is especially important when at some point in the future you opt for a leather interior.

However, Qq has warmed you up enough to delve into the price list. Engine 1.6? Well, you can do more than the entry offer, which is usually more or less affordable due to the low base price, and therefore the engine as such is unfriendly to overtake when and where.

Petrol 2.0? Yes, the Qq really isn't an SUV, at least Nissan doesn't market it that way. And rightly so: they have at their disposal real SUVs of various forms. However, for a quiet and at the same time comfortable ride, a turbodiesel is a very reasonable choice here. And 1.5 dCi, as we know, is a very friendly engine.

What about the bundle? The basic Visia is already pretty rich, but the ESP will have to shell out a good 600 euros. A bit, but leather on the steering wheel, a divisible automatic machine, a refrigerated front compartment, a rain sensor. ... It sounds good.

So, one step forward - Tekna. As well as Boss speakers, xenon headlights and a smart key, but here we have already moved from Tekna to Tekno Pack. However, this cannot be achieved with a 1.5 dCi engine. Hm. .

And here we are with version 2.0 dCi Tekna Pack. But if we've come this far, and if we also have four-wheel drive, let's be a little picky.

A touchscreen navigation system, USB input, MP3 that can be streamed via Bluetooth (for example) from a mobile phone, a reversing camera, heated leather seats, and 18-inch wheels in the Premium package are a logical consequence of the growing appetites. In the meantime, we doubled the starting price, added a bit and created a car similar to the one you see here in the photos.

There is not much to choose from, but let it be as it is. At the moment we are sitting in one of the most expensive Qashqays and have already listed almost all the good things.

In any case, we must not forget that this Qq has seven seats, the last (and each separately) with a sinking one stroke down, and the second row of seats is divided into three parts in a ratio of (approximately) 40: 20: 40. Interesting , and in some cases a useful configuration, especially since the space in the rear seats, that is, in the third row, is quite enough for the average adult.

The only dissatisfaction is due to the high bottom, which in practice means that only the buttocks are on the seat, and the legs are raised (due to the high bottom).

But the buyer is probably most and primarily interested in the driver's workplace. Nice steering wheel, but maybe a few remote controls (some) on its crossbars. There are sensors that also have a trip computer screen that can show the current draw.

This reappears as a strip, which is not very accurate, but there is another interesting fact: a number appears above the strip that shows the average flow rate at a location of a suitable size.

Good thing we didn't opt for an automatic transmission. Not because it would be bad, but because the instruction is excellent. The gear ratios are very well matched, but the most impressive thing is the gear lever or its movements, which are extremely short, and the distance between longitudinal movements (you know, the classic H-gear arrangement) is absolutely short. A transmission that many sports cars would be happy with!

We did a good job with the choice of navigation, but we only got to cross the main road from the Motherland. We know that Nissan can supply all of Slovenia there. Even a USB port that has music already seems like an almost mandatory piece of equipment, but if you plug a USB dongle into it in the Qashqai, you give up the otherwise useful deep drawer. Very sorry.

The rear camera is also a good investment, but with a clear caveat: in the rain, visibility is poor and even without rain - due to the extremely wide viewing angle, which distorts the sense of distance due to distortion - it can't really help with the image.

It would definitely be a great support for an audio unit (which the Qq does not have), but it may not be an effective base accessory for tight parking. And when we are a little reluctant: the buckle of the seat belt is quite high and can sting in the elbow.

What follows is another great thing about this car: an engine that is neither too loud nor shaky, but also a noticeable diesel engine. However, this is just an atypical diesel engine that runs smoothly and spins boldly at the start of the red field on the tachometer (4.500), up to 5.250 rpm, where acceleration stops smoothly.

It is also very powerful in terms of torque, so the driver does not feel lacking even when the car is fully loaded. Easy to start, but overtaking (on country roads) too. And maybe that is why we did not choose a smaller turbodiesel, 1 liter.

Thanks to the rather tall body, the Qq is also useful where there is no asphalt under the wheels, and the already mentioned good engine torque and all-wheel drive help a lot.

This is a variety that offers three settings: disabling the rear wheelset (for example, on dry and asphalt surfaces to save fuel), permanent all-wheel drive with a central clutch (for example, for safe driving on a hill), and locking the middle clutch - for example, when you need to dig some inconvenience, such as snow and mud.

That is why such a Qashqai is a very friendly and helpful car that loves the family and all its ways. It is true that we should have made a good step forward in our preparations, but we still reached the goal. Which is not always and not everywhere.

evaluation

  • Every time we sit in a Qashqaia, we find out where the popularity of this Nissan came from. Even if it is not impressive in appearance, it is exactly what the average family needs as a primary means of transportation. It's a shame that you have to climb to the top of the offer to get the full package. But this is nothing new.
