Nissan Townstar. Specifications, engine, equipment, price - Polish premiere
The first Nissan Townstar cars, a new generation compact car of the brand, arrived in Poland. This model was created to meet the needs of a wide range of users, from small and medium enterprises to customers looking for a roomy family car.
The Townstar will be available with two transmissions, both in a van and passenger version. Initially, the car will be available in a petrol version with a 1,3-litre engine that fully complies with the latest emission regulations (Euro 6d). This unit produces 130 hp. and 240 Nm of torque, the perfect combination of power and economy.
In the summer, the range will be completed by the 100% electric Townstar, equipped with a usable battery capacity of 43 kWh and an engine with 122 hp, 245 Nm of torque and a range of up to 285 km.
The car in the top version of the Tekna passenger car is equipped with safety systems such as Crosswind Assist, Hill Start Assist, Driver Fatigue Warning and Traffic Sign Recognition with an overspeed prevention function. In addition, this variety offers many amenities useful in everyday use of the car, incl. 360 degree camera system, LED spotlights or 15W induction cell phone charger.

The passenger version of the model will also be available in a specially prepared Business version, providing rich equipment including min. I-Key smart key, 8" touchscreen audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, front and rear parking sensors or rear view camera. The Business line will also be available in a van version, but with slightly different equipment adapted to the needs of people who are looking for the right vehicle for transporting goods. Both versions are customized to give customers the best value for money.
In the Van version thanks to a cargo compartment with a capacity of more than 4 m3 (for the long version, available from autumn 2022) the new compact MPV offers the possibility of carrying two Euro pallets and a load capacity of 800 kg. To meet the requirements of a wide variety of businesses, the high-performance propulsion systems can tow loads up to 1500 kg.
The passenger version of the Combi, in turn, will be a good companion for family trips with ample storage options for luggage and useful things with a total volume of up to 775 liters.
This is the first Nissan model in Europe with the brand's new logo. The exterior silhouette features distinctive and standard LED headlights, optional 16-inch alloy wheels, LED indicators in the side mirrors and roof rails.
Orders for the new Nissan Townstar will be collected from mid-February this year, and the first cars will arrive in showrooms in early March. Prices for the passenger variant start from PLN 103 gross.
