Nissan has just installed its 1000th fast charging station

Nissan continues to set records with more than 100 Leaf sales worldwide, the Japanese manufacturer has just reached the milestone of 000 CHAdeMO fast charging stations in Europe.

The UK has just received Nissan's 1000th fast charging station. In collaboration with local clean energy specialist Ecotricity, Nissan has just added 195 new electrical terminals on British soil to its already large network, a real benefit for users looking to cross big cities with ease. Jean-Pierre Dimaz, director of Nissan's electric vehicle subsidiary, confirmed that this was a very important step for the green mobility sector as Nissan's zero-emission users can increase their journeys thanks to this infrastructure. Indeed, this type of terminal allows the Nissan LEAF owner to charge the car battery up to 80% in just half an hour.

In France, the number of terminals installed by the brand is also constantly increasing: 107 terminals are now registered in France through several partnerships. Many corridors have also been laid for these fast-charging platforms, for example, in the IDF, between Rennes and Nantes, or even on the Cote d'Azur or Alsace. It will now be possible to drive a few kilometers on French roads in a Nissan electric car without the fear of a power outage. For example, Alsatians can drive and find charging stations within 40 kilometers of the road given that there are Moselle, Mulhouse, Colmar, Ilkirch-Graffenstaden, Strasbourg and Hagenau.
