Niu MQiGT, Niu NQiGTs Pro are two new Niu electric scooters with a top speed of 70 km/h

At EICMA 2019, Niu presented improved versions of the M and N scooters. Niu MQiGT and NQiGTs Pro received new Bosch electric motors with 3 kW (4,1 hp) instead of the previous 2 kW and batteries with a capacity of 2 to 4,2 kWh, depending on on the version and trim level.

Thus, the range of the scooter can be expected to increase by about 80-100 kilometers when driving in the city.

New NQiGTs Pro Compared to its big brother, it has larger 14-inch wheels, newer suspension and a 2,1 kWh main battery that can be expanded to 4,2 kWh. In this case, the range is from 70 (70 km / h) to 100 (45 km / h) and up to 150 kilometers (25 km / h) on a single charge.

The power of both scooters' engines allows them to accelerate to 70 km / h, making two-wheeled motorcycles a smarter choice for the city than conventional electric mopeds (up to 45 km / h). Both Niu vehicles are expected to go on sale in 2020. Their prices are not yet known.
