New Savic Electric Motorcycle Coming Soon to Market

Australian brand Savic Motorcycles unveils its new prototype C-Series, an electric motorcycle that combines style and cutting-edge technology.

3 models of urban and stylish electric motorcycles

Currently in pre-production, the new Savic will appeal to bikers concerned about its environmental impact. Entirely developed in Australia, this new electric motorcycle is available in three models: Alpha, Delta and Omega. The first one is the most powerful and the most expensive, even if the European tariffs are not yet known. Thus, the Alpha has an 11 kWh battery, a 60 kW motor and a range of 200 km in the city.

Dennis Savic, founder and president of the brand, detailed to New Atlas magazine: “The prototype will have 60kW of power and 190Nm of torque at engine level. We designed the pulleys ourselves and use a 36mm belt, which in my opinion is the widest in the EV market. We will also add a lower belt guard to protect it from rocks. The belt is our own design and the spokes will match the spokes of the wheel, which is also our design. I really like these kind of features. “

Release expected in 2021

The electric motorcycle of the future promises to be fast, with the Alpha going from 0 to 100 km/h in 3,5 seconds, while the Delta in 4,5 seconds and the Omega in 5,5 seconds. It won't be long before Savic is ready for production. Some features are still in development. The company was indeed affected by the containment measures that caused production at the Melbourne workshop to be halted. So we're patiently waiting for news of this promising bike with a leather saddle and a large battery wrapped in cooling fins.
