New interface in the new Tesla Model S with v11 software. Other buttons levitating windows

The first presentations of the new Tesla interface used in the new Model S and available as software version 11 (v11) are starting to surface on social media and on YouTube. Backgrounds are pastel, with backlighting, interface elements hover above them, the organization of controls has changed, new functions have appeared.

The version shown in the photos is a pre-release version, so it is still subject to change. As the commenter points out, rendering more than one window on a canvas it includes the availability of multitasking for users without having to switch between full screen apps. Two rectangles have icons resembling phones in the upper left corner, their descriptions also inform about mobile devices, so they can be rendered elements from smartphones:

There are controls under the windows that allow you to control the seat heating, air conditioning, and heating / vents on the windows. On the left side there is a notification, wireless icon and a car outline on a dotted background. The latter causes an additional window to appear.

When you click on the car icon, a bunch of rectangular buttons and controls appear on the screen, slightly arranged without order or composition. In the lower left part of the photo, you can see that the screen is slightly tilted towards the driver. Tesla has announced this feature since the beginning, but it is not yet known how it should work:

After pressing the Management move on to setting up a classic car. He appears among them Drag strip mode (1/4 mile race mode) and function names are displayed larger. It might be interesting Smart shift (Intelligent gear ratio), the mechanism of which should automatically select the correct forward-reverse direction:

function Media on disk (Player while driving) will probably allow the driver to choose whether or not the media player should be displayed in the main window when the driver gets into the car. Black Tesla, the author of the video, found this option useful, but it could make owners of multiple Tesla vehicles stop noticing radio stations and music following them between vehicles. 🙂
