New Nissan Leaf: TEST Car Magazine. Overall rating: 4/5

CAR magazine had the opportunity to test the second generation Nissan Leaf (2018) right after the car's premiere. According to testers, the new Leaf earned a four on a five-point scale. In incomplete grades, he got 3/5 or 4/5.

A reporter testing the car stressed that while everyone is in awe of Tesla, the Nissan Leaf is in fact largely responsible for the electrification of the world. Moreover, the car has been produced for many years, and some European competitors are only announcing prototypes.

The reviewer was disappointed that this is just an updated first-generation Leaf that has a lot in common with the Nissan Micra and Qashqai. However, he liked the dark interior with light accents.

He also liked the power of the car (148 horsepower), although he stressed that driving was not fun. The new Leaf should travel between two points with minimal driver involvement.

We were surprised by the opinion of the range, which, according to the observer, citing Nissan engineers, is about 200 miles (about 320 km). After these words, one can begin to doubt whether the author of the review was allowed to drive the car for more than 15 minutes, because the first video tests show the mileage of the new Leaf is about 250 kilometers - about the same as the car itself displays on the dashboard:
