A new all-terrain vehicle from Bialystok is sent to the USA

The students of the Bialystok University of Technology, already known for their skills, presented a new all-terrain vehicle project called #next, which will take part in the international University Rover Challenge in the Utah desert at the end of May. This time, young builders from Bialystok are going to the USA as favorites, because they have already won this competition three times.

According to representatives of the PB, #next is an advanced mechatronic design. It can do much more than its predecessors from older generations of wheeled robots. Thanks to a grant from the Future Generation project of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, it was possible to build a machine that meets the highest requirements.

Mars rovers built by students of the Białystok University of Technology as part of the University Rover Challenge in the USA won the championship in 2011, 2013 and 2014. The URC Competition is an international competition organized by the Mars Society for students and high school students. Teams from the USA, Canada, Europe and Asia take part in the URC. This year there were 44 teams, but only 23 teams made it to the finals in the Utah desert.
