Will it be necessary to drive on gas?

Will it be necessary to drive on gas? Since the beginning of the year, crude oil prices on world markets have been hitting new value records, which is automatically reflected in prices at filling stations, including in Poland.

Will it be necessary to drive on gas? Currently, a liter of 95 unleaded petrol costs at least PLN 5,17, and at leading filling stations such as Statoil or BP, it costs 10 groszy more per liter. It is not surprising that many drivers intend to install LPG in their car. Gas is twice cheaper than gasoline, and even slightly higher fuel consumption does not deter car owners from driving on this type of fuel.

The cost of installing an LPG system in a car ranges from PLN 1000 to even PLN 3000, depending on the type of car, engine size and other variables. These costs, however, are nothing compared to the running costs of a gasoline car. Most often they come back after a few months of using the car. For drivers who use a car for work or often travel long distances, the installation of LPG will be the most beneficial. If Pb 95 gasoline becomes even more expensive, many drivers will be forced to “switch” to LPG.

World experts in the fuel market say that gasoline prices will not slow down in the near future, but, on the contrary, will grow. Thus, the operating costs of gasoline-powered vehicles will automatically increase again.

Fuel prices are rising consistently, month after month. Over the past 2 years, gas has also risen in price by less than PLN 95. Since January 2009, petrol Pb 1,65 has risen in price by PLN 5. This is twice as much, despite the fact that this fuel has always been more expensive and its consumption is only slightly lower than in the case of LPG. In March of this year, gasoline prices exceeded the psychological limit of 95 zł. However, the matter did not end there. At many gas stations in the country, one can see the price per liter of petrol Pb 5,27 – PLN XNUMX.

In the analyzed period, gas prices are growing at a slower pace than gasoline prices, which fluctuate greatly. It can be seen that from April to September, both in 2009 and in 2010, gasoline prices are significantly higher than in other months. This indicates that the April increase in prices for gasoline Pb-95 this year can continue throughout the summer months, and only closer to the new academic year, prices will stabilize at a slightly lower level than before.

A year ago, at the same time, we paid more than twice as much for a liter of gasoline than for gas. This trend continues to this day. If we analyze previous years in terms of prices for gasoline and LPG, we can conclude that gas has always been at least two times cheaper than gasoline.

All this pleases garage owners who assemble gas installations for cars. Their hands are busy. Today, the installation of HBO on a car has to wait up to two weeks, while a few months ago it was done in a few days. If nothing changes, soon there will be many more cars with LPG in our country. Today we are perceived as a world power in this area, because there are already about 2,5 million cars with gas installations on Polish roads. We also have the largest LPG filling stations in the world.
