2020 Holden Colorado LSX Review: Snapshot

Holden calls the LSX (4X4 Crew Cab Pick-Up, $46,990 - manual, $49,190 - automatic) its rugged entry-level truck, and there are plenty of stylish touches that make it stand out from the crowd.

The list of key features is in line with lower-spec trucks - so expect a 7.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto paired with a six-speaker stereo. You also get a leather steering wheel and a USB charger. Outside, you'll find body-color LED DRLs and power mirrors, while inside, you'll find cloth seats, manual air conditioning, and carpeting.

This "tough" part is represented by 18-inch alloy wheels, a high-gloss black front grille, black sport trim and fender flares, and a Colorado decal at the rear.

However, you get the same engine; A 2.8-liter Duramax turbodiesel with 147 kW and 500 Nm (or 440 Nm with a manual transmission) that can be paired with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.

Holden's Colorado has a five-star ANCAP rating across the entire range, with a full score in 2016. Safety consists of seven airbags, rear sensors, a reversing camera and hill descent control system, and the usual traction seat. and braking aids. However, there is no AEB available.
