110 Land Rover Defender 240 D2021 Review: Snapshot

The D240 is the mid-range diesel variant in the Defender range. It is equipped with a 2.0-liter inline-four-cylinder diesel engine with 177 kW and 430 Nm.

It is available in four trim levels - D240, D240 S, D240 SE and D240 First Edition - and with five, six or 5+2 seats in the five-door 110.

It has an eight-speed automatic transmission and permanent all-wheel drive system, a dual-range transfer case, as well as a Land Rover Terrain Response system with selectable modes such as grass/gravel/snow, sand, mud and ruts. and climbing. 

It also has center and rear differential locks.
