Review: Nissan Leaf Nismo - Stronger Acceleration, Red Accents Inside and Out

Youtuber Electrified Journeys Japan had the opportunity to ride the Nissan Leaf Nismo, a tuned version of the electric Nissan Leaf. In his opinion, the car accelerates noticeably better, visually added.

The faster acceleration of the new Leaf Nismo is most felt when driving, when the car is traveling at 50-60 km / h. Starting from scratch, the power of the car is not so noticeable. Indeed, when the manufacturer announced the car, it promised primarily optical tuning, but also minor modifications to the Leaf's software:

The Nissan Leaf Nismo comes across as a slightly lower car. The appearance of the side air intakes has been slightly changed, the lower part of the front of the car has been removed:

The car also has a completely new rim pattern, but the wheel size (18 inches) remains the same:

There are red accents throughout the body and interior of the Leaf Nismo. In the middle, red is seen mainly on the deflector frames and on the seats that are stitched with red thread. The color of the inserts in the counters has not changed;

The Nismo brand stands for NISsan MOtorsports and is generally associated with significantly better performance cars. In the case of the Nissan Leaf Nismo, we are dealing with small adjustments to the control computer and suspension, as well as optical adjustments.... Nevertheless, the creator of the Electrified Journeys Japan channel was delighted with the car:
