Tesla Model X P100D 2017 Review: Snapshot
The P100D is the top model of the Model X line of SUVs, priced at $271,987, the highest priced.
Do not try to fill it with gasoline. It will be messy, but the embarrassment will be the hardest to remove because the Model X is an electric car.
It's a big SUV that comes standard with five seats, but if you've got the money left, you can opt for the Model X with six or seven seats.
Standard features include a huge 17-inch touchscreen, satellite navigation, a reversing camera, climate control, and seven more cameras configured so the car can be fully autonomous once the software is deployed.
The Model X also comes standard with a rear wing and chic red brake calipers that your 100D mates will envy.
In addition, they are more than jealous of your power plants. While they have the same 193kW and 330Nm motors on the front and rear axles of their 100D, you'll have 193kW/330Nm up front and 375kW/600Nm in the rear.
That grunt, along with the Ridiculous Speed update, will allow the P100D to hit 0 km/h in 100 seconds like a supercar.
The 100 kWh battery has a range of 542 km (NEDC), but for the real world, you need to reduce it by 100 km.
