300 Toyota Land Cruiser Sahara 2022 Series Review: LC300 Shot

The Sahara remains the fourth trim level in the new LandCruiser LC300 line, but it now costs $6,917 more at $131,190 (MSRP). You can opt for the VX for $17,200 less, and upgrading to the GR Sport will cost you an extra $6,600, or the closer philosophy Sahara ZX for an extra $7,600.

Look for chrome mirrors to opt for a Sahara over a VX, and it's a bit odd that you have to spend over $130,000 to get leather seat trim with the Sahara, and that goes for the head-up display and power tailgate as well. However, this skin can be black or beige.

Other luxury touches include second-row entertainment screens and a 14-speaker JBL audio system, power-folding third-row seats, a cooler in the center console, a heated steering wheel, and second-row seats also feature heated and ventilated seats.

Like all LC300 trim levels, the Sahara is powered by a new 227-litre V700 twin-turbo diesel engine with 3.3 kW/6 Nm and an official fuel consumption figure of 8.9 l/100 km.
