They tested an electric car
The drivers tested the electric car and shared their impressions. The video was shot by L'Express during the 2010 World Auto Show and I thought it important to introduce it to you.
Opinions were divided. Two main points arise: it is pleasant to drive, but price is still a barrier to purchasing an electric vehicle.
According to motorists' tests, the electric car makes no noise ... silence (some talk about adding a silencer to warn pedestrians), it has no smell, good ergonomics, it is pleasant to drive and gives a good feeling during acceleration and braking.
Some see it only in urban settings and as a second car. In most cases, its price is still prohibitively high (about 30 euros), despite the help of the French state. Renting may or may not be the solution.
