Opel Zafira-e Life. What equipment? The car is already on sale in Poland Opel has begun taking orders for the new Zafira-e Life, the all-electric flagship 'cabin on wheels' variant.

The Zafira-e Life is offered in three lengths (Compact, Long, Extra Long) with up to nine seats. In addition, most versions of the Zafiry-e Life are less than 1,90 meters high and therefore provide access to typical underground garages. The possibility of "underground" parking with the possibility of equipping it with a tow bar, which allows towing trailers with a maximum load capacity of 1000 kg, makes Zafira-e Life an offer for environmentally conscious, but demanding hotels, transfer and private users.

The car is already on sale in PolandWith 100 kW (136 hp) of power and a maximum torque of 260 Nm from electric drive, the Zafira-e Life offers higher performance than most electric multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs). An electronically limited top speed of 130 km/h allows you to travel on motorways while maintaining a range.

Customers can choose between two sizes of modern lithium-ion batteries depending on their needs: 75 kWh and a range of up to 330 km or 50 kWh and a range of up to 230 km, both on the WLTP cycle. .

Batteries consist of 18 and 27 modules, respectively. The batteries, located under the cargo area without compromising luggage space compared to the combustion engine version, further lower the center of gravity, which has a positive effect on cornering stability and wind resistance.

An advanced regenerative braking system that recovers energy generated when braking or decelerating further improves performance.

Each Zafira-e Life is adapted to different charging options - via the Wall Box terminal, a quick charger or, if necessary, even a charging cable from a household outlet.

The car is already on sale in PolandWhen using a public charging station (100 kW) with direct current (DC), it takes only about 50 minutes to charge a 80 kWh battery to 30% of its capacity (approximately 45 minutes for a 75 kWh battery). Opel offers on-board chargers that ensure the shortest charging time and longest battery life (covered by an eight-year warranty / 160 km). In the Polish market, the Zafira-e Life is equipped as standard with a 000 kW single-phase charger. Optionally, the vehicle can be equipped with a powerful 7,4 ​​kW three-phase on-board charger.

To make their use even more practical, "OpelConnect" and "myOpel".« offer special solutions for all Opel electric vehicles, including the Zafiry-e Life. These services are available through the app.

With "OpelConnect" remote control features, customers can use their smartphones to check the battery charge status or to program the air conditioner and charge time. In addition, the OpelConnect offer ranges from eCall and emergency calls to many other services such as vehicle status information. Online navigation provides real-time traffic information.

The system even recognizes pedestrians crossing the road and can initiate an emergency braking maneuver at speeds up to 30 km/h. Cruise control with speed limiter enhances driving comfort and smoothness. Lane Assist and a fatigue sensor warn the driver if he has spent too much time behind the wheel and needs a break. High beam assistant, which automatically selects high or low beam, is activated above 25 km/h. Also unique in this segment of the market is a color head-up display on the windshield that shows speed, distance to the vehicle in front and navigation. 

Ultrasonic sensors in the front and rear bumpers warn the driver of obstacles while parking. The image from the rear view camera appears in the interior mirror or on the 7,0-inch touchscreen - in the latter case with a 180-degree bird's-eye view.

Large touch screen available with Multimedia and Multimedia Navi systems. Both systems offer smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Thanks to OpelConnect, the navigation system provides up-to-date traffic information. A powerful audio system is available in all trim levels. In the top version, passengers enjoy first-class acoustics thanks to ten speakers.

Zafira-e Life is available in Poland with a list price of PLN 208 gross.
