Bicycle repair package: € 50 bonus officially renewed
With a € 50 flat assistance rate available to everyone, the “bike boost” is officially extended until December 31, 2020.
Want to fix your old bike and get back in the saddle? Premium bike repair is made for you! Launched last May to speed up cycling the day after giving birth, the device has been an incredible success. Since the entry into force of this measure, 620.000 bicycles have used it.
With the start of the school year, the flow of requests is such that the authorities have just added a budget of 20 million euros to the already allocated 60 million, or 80 million in total. According to the government, this expansion will allow "Renovated by December 31, 2020 and thus helping over 1 million cyclists give their bike a second life.".
Help up to € 50
The bike repair fee, available to everyone without any conditions, cannot exceed 50 euros excluding taxes, the beneficiary is responsible for paying VAT. The operation must be carried out by the repair partner of the device. Brakes, tires, derailleur, etc. ... With the exception of accessories (anti-theft, helmet, etc. ...), all current repairs are related to current repairs.
