First look at the future Suzuki electric scooter

On the way, several diagrams suggest how the future electric scooter of the Japanese brand will look like. The model is due to launch in India in the next few months.

If it is likely to be some time before Suzuki's electric scooter hits the European market, the manufacturer continues to move forward on this issue. This is evidenced by several diagrams from the manufacturer's patent.

In terms of design, Suzuki takes no chances with a relatively classic architecture. The diagrams show the integration of the motor in the center position. A dedicated battery compartment is also clearly visible. The latter is located under the saddle, which means it will be removable. If it's too early to talk about free space under the saddle, there is no doubt that it will be less than on a regular scooter.

On the bike side, the suspension consists of a standard telescopic fork and a dual shock swingarm. The saddle is similarly configured to accommodate two passengers.

India for Priority Market

The Suzuki electric scooter will first be sold in India where it will be produced locally. It is rumored that its launch could occur between 2020 and 2021. A model designed for an international career can then be launched in other markets. Why not in Europe!
