Peugeot Looxor 50

Large 16-inch five-spoke wheels complete the modern Looxor design, which is supported by a steel tube frame. Particularly pleasing are the rear direction indicators, the imaginary line of which runs into the scooter's fuselage on one side and continues into the rear light on the other.

Under the seat in the torso is a place to store the helmet. Ahead of you, a moon-shaped headlight greets you with a smile, flirting with the turn signals at the edges. On top is a mask (a) in which instruments are hidden: a large analog speedometer and at first glance incomprehensible digital gauges with strokes that show fuel used, mileage and hours.

Those with longer legs will find it annoying to have an overly plastic environment, as they quickly wear out the knees when there is a lack of space.

The Peugeot 50 cm50 funnel is powered by an air-cooled two-stroke engine. He's not exactly peppy, but he's not too lazy either. Acceleration is smooth, no dimples. With a terminal speed of just under 100 kilometers per hour, wandering through the harsh city center is a pleasure, and participants in the (too) fast movement will easily overtake you at the entrances to the city. There are better and safer choices than the larger, more powerful XNUMXcc Looxor.

Thanks to the 16-inch wheels, the driver needs to be a little more attentive and have some experience. The catalyzed exhaust system and volume comply with European standards, so the little lion turns like a neighbor's cat.

Be careful with the brakes. The front disc is too rough and can be fatal on smooth city asphalt if not properly dosed. The rear drum, performs its tasks satisfactorily, since, despite the locking of the rear wheel, it is practically invisible. When braking more sharply, as well as when driving on uneven surfaces, the front

The Paioli telescopic fork responds as expected, which is not the case for the rear center shock.

With its trend towards elegance, Looxor will especially appeal to those who want a simple form of transport for urban centers and at the same time be “cool” and “stylish” in the third millennium. Well, years are not a hindrance at all.

On reflection, though, I'm sure the miniskirt goes best with the Looxor. But a cow. At least this is the case with Italians, who buy the most scooters on large wheels.
