Why is the VAZ 2106 engine troit

Today I ran into another problem with my car. Since I often don’t have to go anywhere, the mileage of my car is quite small. I bought the VAZ 2106 from scratch and in more than 10 years of operation I drove only 100 km - and as you know, 000 kilometers are considered normal average mileage.

So, it started up in the morning, everything seemed to be fine on a cold one, despite the twenty-degree frost, but after the engine of my six warmed up, the car suddenly began to twitch and work intermittently, for the first time I have such a problem for all this time. Yes, and under the hood over the years, to be honest, I practically did not look.

But since the engine was twitching, we had to find out what was the reason. First I looked at the fuel filter, I thought maybe it was just clogged or filled with water. But after removing it and blowing it properly, no changes occurred. Therefore, it was necessary to look elsewhere.

And then something told me that I need to look at the spark plugs, because in all this time I have never changed them. I started the engine and began to remove the wire from each candle one by one to find out in which cylinder the problem is observed. And so it turned out, removing the wire from the fourth cylinder - the car continued to work intermittently, and removing it from all the others - almost immediately stalled, as it worked only on 2 cylinders.

I immediately ran to the garage and found there an old candle from my previous car, put it in place of the old one. I start it up and the car works perfectly, no failures or interruptions in the operation of the engine of my VAZ 2106 are observed. So, gentlemen! Everything turned out to be much simpler than one could imagine!
