2021 Mahindra Pik-Up Detailed Pricing and Features: India's Budget Double Cab Car Gets Big Tech Update to Tempt Toyota HiLux and Ford Ranger Buyers

Two variants of the 4×4 double cab pickup truck now come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.

Mahindra Australia has given the low-cost Pik-Up ute a significant multimedia upgrade for model year 21.

In particular, two variants of the Pik-Up 4×4 double cab pickup truck, the S10+ and S10+ Black Edition, now come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support as standard.

For reference, this change to a 7.0-inch central touchscreen has been made since May 2021 production and does not apply to the three Indian ute single cab variants.

However, it's worth noting that prices for the 4x2 and 4x4 single-cab versions of the S6+ chassis were increased by $1000 in January to $24,990 and $28,990, respectively, due to higher shipping costs.

The 4x4 S6+ Single Cab Pickup Truck Pastoral Pack ($35,990) is unchanged on all fronts, while the aforementioned 10x10 S4+ and S4+ Black Edition Double Cab Pickup Truck versions also cost the same as and before, at $32,990 and $39,990 despite their recent upgrade.

Of course, regardless of variant, the Pick-Up is powered by a 103kW/320Nm 2.2-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

As with Mahindra Australia's wider model range, the Toyota HiLux and Ford Ranger alternative is covered by a five-year or 100,000-mile warranty. It also comes with five years of roadside assistance and a four-year/55,000 km limited-price service plan.
