Porsche Taycan GTS. First Taycan with a range of over 500 kilometers
GTS stands for Gran Turismo Sport. Starting with the 904 Porsche 1963 Carrera GTS, these three letters hold special power for Porsche fans. Now a variant with this legendary three-letter combination is present in every model range. At the Los Angeles Auto Show (LA Auto Show, November 19 - 28, 2021), the manufacturer presents a new version of its electric sports car - just in the GTS variant.
The Taycan GTS Sport Turismo, the third version of Porsche's first all-electric range, will debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The novelty shares a sporty silhouette and sloping roofline with the Taycan Cross Turismo family.
The Taycan Sport Turismo combines the sporty silhouette, sloping roofline and functional design of the Cross Turismo variant. Headroom at the rear is more than 45mm more than the Taycan sports sedan, and luggage space under the large tailgate is more than 1200 liters. However, the Taycan Sport Turismo does not have off-road design elements.
On the outside, the car is distinguished by numerous details in black or tinted, including the front bumper, side mirror holders and side window surrounds – as is usual for the Porsche GTS family. The elegant ambience of the interior is enhanced by numerous accessories wrapped in black Race-Tex material and the standard trim package in brushed aluminum with black anodized finish.

Panoramic sunroof: transparent or frosted at the touch of a finger
A panoramic sunroof with sun protection is available as an option for the Porsche Taycan GTS. An electrically controlled liquid crystal film allows the roof tint to be adjusted from clear to matt, protecting travelers from glare without darkening the cabin.
The roof is divided into nine segments that can be adjusted individually - the first such solution in the automotive industry in the world. In addition to the Clear and Matt settings, you can also choose between Semi and Bold. These are predefined patterns with narrow or wide segments.
In Overboost mode, power is 440 kW (598 hp) when using Launch Control. The sprint from zero to 100 km/h takes 3,7 seconds for both body styles and their top speed is 250 km/h. With a WLTP range of up to 504 km, the new sports variant of the Porsche Taycan is the first to pass the 500 km mark.
The Taycan GTS gets a specially adapted adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) to improve lateral dynamics. The optional rear wheel steering setup is also made even sportier. The character of the new variety is underlined by the modified, "juicy" sound of the drive system - Porsche Electric Sport Sound.
Prices for the Porsche Taycan GTS and Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo start at $574 respectively. złoty and 578 thousand. zł with VAT. Both options will be available to dealers in the spring of 2022. More powertrains will be added to the Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo range in the future.
