POSIP – Porsche Side Impact Protection System

The Porsche Side Impact Protection System (POSIP) consists of two airbags on each side.

The chest airbag is integrated into the seat side bolsters, the head airbag is integrated into the doors. With a volume of approximately 8 liters each, they offer a high potential for side impact protection, even with the roof open.
