Priority law enforcement - what is it according to the SDA?

Driving requires great vigilance and attention to signs. Redefinition is often due to someone's haste or ignorance. Therefore, as a driver, you must always be very vigilant. It is worth knowing the definition of extortion and knowing exactly what not to do on the road. What fine can you get for crossing the right-of-way and colliding? Every driver should know this!

Forced priority - determination by law

Override occurs when you leave a secondary road and force a vehicle on the main road to slow down, change lanes, or stop. This will happen when the driver of this vehicle will have to significantly reduce speed. The definition of an override is fairly general.

At the same time, crowded cities look at it differently. The police take it into account too! On a clogged road, it is simply important to be careful and not make sudden, dangerous braking.

Priority Law Enforcement and Rules of the Road

Enforcement of the right of way is described in Article 25 of the Road Code concerning intersections. It cannot be denied that this error in driving a car is related to the intersections of different roads. However, this can also be the case, for example, when traveling from private residences.

For this reason, if you are driving through the city and see a lot of exits, be especially careful and slow down! Forcing priority will not be your fault, but above all, you must protect your health.

Override - check which road you are on

In order not to force the right of way, always remember the road you are on. If you drive on a secondary road, thinking it is the main road, you can quickly get into an accident. Also, don't forget about the right hand rule if you are driving on smooth roads. They are found mainly in small housing estates of blocks or single-family houses. Little traffic means that the risk of a crash, at least in theory, is not too high.

Priority execution - a penalty that you can receive

Forcing the right of way is an extremely dangerous manoeuvre. For this reason, you can get up to 30 euros for such behavior. The imposition of priority can even be a threat to health and life. Just try not to.

Penalty for forcing the right of way and collision

Override can happen almost anywhere. Crossing a secondary road is just one of the cases. Sometimes there is also forced priority traffic at the roundabout.

However, if there is a collision during the accident, your fine may be higher than 30 euros. It is true that this traffic accident does not require calling the police, but if they show up on the spot, you can be fined between 5 and 500 euros. €6 In addition, up to XNUMX penalty points can be awarded for each collision.

Forcing the right-of-way - because of this, an accident occurs

Forcing the right-of-way and provoking an accident is often associated. If crossing the right-of-way caused an accident, then at least one person was injured enough for the consequences of the event not to disappear after 7 days. It is assumed that the hospitalization in this case is related to an accident.

Overtaking a car and forcing a preferential passage - can be combined

If you overtake a car and during this maneuver force the vehicle in front to slow down, you will also force the vehicle to give way. Therefore, if you must overtake, do so only on a straight road where visibility is very good. Any hills in the immediate vicinity should prevent you from doing this. These crashes are usually among the most dangerous because the overtaking driver is often going faster than they should.

Overtaking is dangerous and reckless, especially if done on purpose. Therefore, the penalties for this maneuver are justified. While driving, it is better to be careful and not force the road. Getting there a little faster doesn't justify breaking the rules and risking someone's life.
