XADO engine additives - reviews, tests, videos

XADO is a Ukrainian-Dutch company, which was founded in 1991 in the city of Kharkov.

The main invention of the company is revitalizants - engine oil additives that significantly increase the engine's service life. The company produces a huge range of products to protect almost all components of cars and other motor equipment.

Products with the XADO logo appeared on the market in 2004 and immediately caused a lot of controversy - rather expensive revitalizing additives and motor oils were positioned as an elixir for a car.

After their application, old cars fly like new ones: the knock in the engine disappears, the gearboxes stop humming, fuel consumption decreases, and compression in the cylinders increases.

What have we been able to find out?

Operating principle of XADO revitalizants

Unlike Suprotec additives, XADO acts on the engine in a slightly different way. Revitalizants, they are also called atomic oils, are, in fact, a thick oil that contains revitalizant granules.

Such an additive is sold in small containers of 225 milliliters.

Revitalizant granules, getting into the engine, are transferred together with engine oil to those parts that need protection. As soon as such a place is found - for example, a crack in the piston wall or chipped cylinder walls - the revitalization process is initiated. Under the action of friction forces and the heat released in this case, a layer of cermet begins to grow. This is a self-regulating process that stops as soon as the protective coating is formed.

The advantage of XADO additives is that the active substances are in granules and do not enter into chemical reactions with the additives of standard engine oil. To prevent the agent from settling in the crankcase, after filling it, leave the engine to idle for at least 15 minutes, during which time the revitalizant will settle on the surface of friction pairs and begin to form a protective layer.

After a run of 1500-2000 kilometers, a protective coating will be formed.

It is necessary to correctly calculate the moment of filling XADO atomic oil - it is impossible to replace the standard oil after filling the additive until the car has traveled at least 1500 kilometers.

During this time, the protective layer will have time to form, the geometry of the cylinders will improve, which will lead to an increase in compression, and, accordingly, to an increase in traction, a decrease in fuel and engine oil consumption.

After 1500-2000 km of run, the oil can already be safely changed. This will not affect the protective layer in any way. Moreover, the revitalizant retains the ability to regenerate, that is, if new cracks and scratches form on the protective layer, they will naturally overgrow without adding a new portion of XADO atomic oil.

In order to consolidate the results obtained, re-filling of the additive can be carried out somewhere after 50-100 thousand kilometers.

Many drivers are so carried away by the process of revitalizing their car engine that they fill XADO more and more often than necessary. However, this is a waste of money - the manager in one of the auto chemical shops recommended that you stick to the exact dosage (one bottle for 3-5 liters of oil), but if you fill in more, then the granules will simply be in the engine oil as a reserve and will work only when there will be a need, for example, with excess loads.

Approximately according to the same principle, all other additives that are added to the gearbox, power steering, gearbox operate. There are separate compounds specially adapted for gasoline and diesel engines, manual, automatic or robotic transmissions, for all- or front-wheel drive vehicles.

Application of XADO in real life

All of the above information was taken from company brochures and conversations with management consultants. But the editors of the Vodi.su portal look at any advertisement, just like an advertisement. It will be much more interesting to find out whether XADO additives are really capable of returning the engine to its former power. After talking with drivers and minders, we managed to find out one hundred percent only one thing - the use of these additives will definitely not make the engine run worse.

They told, for example, a story about a minder who was driven to repair a car, in whose engine this drug was once given. The poor minder could not get rid of the durable ceramic-metal coating on the pistons, so he had to completely change the cylinder-piston group.

Many drivers frankly praised these additives - everything that is written in the advertisement is really true: the car began to consume less fuel, it starts up without problems in winter, noise and vibration have disappeared.

There were also those who did not respond very well, and not only about XADO, but also about any other additives. True, as it turned out later, their problems did not occur due to the use of additives, but due to completely different breakdowns: burnt pistons, worn oil pumps, liners and crankshaft journals. Such breakdowns can only be fixed in the workshop, no additive will help in this case.

In a word, before filling in additives, you need to undergo diagnostics, because a car is a very complex system, and increased oil consumption or a drop in engine power can occur not only due to wear on cylinders and pistons.

The same goes for problems with the gearbox - if the gears are made of low-quality metal, then the only way is to completely sort out the gearbox.

We did not find people who would pour XADO additives into new engines.

In principle, such compositions are intended for used cars, in the engines of which there is a strong wear of pairs of rubbing surfaces.

For owners of recently purchased cars, we will advise you to change the recommended oil in time.
