There are several fuel related causes that can cause hot start problems:

  • Your fuel gauge may be defective! It announces to you a higher level than it really is. First reflex: check the corresponding fuse. For more DIY enthusiasts, you can try checking if the float located in your tank is working. For others, go to the garage to do this check.
  • Your TDC sensor, also called a crankshaft sensor or camshaft sensor, may be damaged. If they fail, they can cause the wrong amount of fuel to be delivered using electronic injection. Here it is a mandatory passage through the garage space.
  • Your fuel pump is no longer working properly. To find out if this is your pump, in which case we advise you to contact your mechanic as soon as possible.
