Extended test: Aprilia Dorsoduro 900 // Aprilia, not for everyone

A lover of technology and aesthetics and design-oriented motorcycles, Matjj Tomažić liked the curve and somewhat playful character, because as an indomitable Italian beauty he was able to raise the adrenaline. Our MotoGP Expert Primoж Юrman also traveled quite a lot with her and confessed with mixed feelings that he knocked it out of his hands. On the one hand, it is Dorsoduro he was wild, and with the many bikes he tested, he wondered if he'd end up picking only one, he'd still go for such a characteristically powerful bike, or opt for something more sophisticated on two wheels.

A very special story, full of new experiences, was written by our motorcyclist, a newcomer to basketball. Maks Spider. He said: “I did squeeze the bike a bit, but it was very fun to ride. The first thing that pleasantly surprised me was the sound of the engine, which I personally really like. The engine has changed a lot from my usual driving style (quiet cruising). I noticed this soon after I first seduced him because he is light and bouncy. However, I would like to point out that this requires the driver to be attentive when driving, especially when cornering. His favorites are sinuosity and quick acceleration from corners. It suits him best if the driver pushes him. In addition to common sense and tires, the electronics also make contact with the ground. However, he "danced" under my ass several times. The wind is, of course, strong due to the weak wind protection, and moving at a speed of 130 kilometers per hour turns into real seafaring.”

Like the rest of us, he also discovered that the Dorsoduro is not even a high-speed motorcycle. Matevj Hribar, a former supermoto racer, wondered if this was really a real supermoto. He gave the design a big plus and wrote: "No other manufacturer (at least in this segment) has dared to give a car as much style: not boring headlights at all (you know what supermoto cars were over a decade ago?), among exhaust outlets, a taillight extended, a blood-red (beautifully done) frame bar, miniature styling accessories, such as small Italian flags. Dorsoduro is so consistent that one could be angry at Brussels bureaucrats or at someone who has already invented the obligatory orange side reflectors. The Dorsoduro is a beautiful and beautifully built motorcycle. While the twin-cylinder V-twin design can hardly go wrong, there's more to Aprilia's machine; some sharpness, but also deep softness. This engine with 95 “horsepower” (at 8.750 rpm) and 90 Newton meters (at 6.500 rpm) also pushes well, but only in the sports program, because the traction control in the drive and rain program also clips its wings. a lot of. So far so good and correct, but the Dorsoduro has a feature since he was born, so he is not very high on my personal scale, as I found that such bikes do not suit me personally. Although I know that these machines are praised by many and that, especially with Rubens House at the helm, such a machine can go damn fast and "across".

In the end, I can add that every time I sat on a high and hard seat, I experienced that slight excitement, as if I were sitting on a racing car. The liveliness of the unit has always made it necessary to be a little more careful when adding gas, and although the electronics carefully controlled that the rear wheel did not spin too much left-right when accelerating from a turn on slightly slippery pavement. To me, the Aprilia Dorsoduro is something of a "grumpy" bike that will satisfy the adrenaline cravings most for those who still have a bit of a pobalin.

By price 9.890 euro this is not exactly the category of motorcycles where you get the most for your money, if you are the type of Dorsodura that raises your heart rate, we still recommend going to the showroom or at least a test drive.
