Suzuki V-Strom 250 extended test, part 1: in the hands of a novice rider

If someone told me two years ago that I was going to become a motorcyclist and get a test engine in my care, and wrote something else about it, I would definitely ask him if he is crazy. For four years I sat in this little triangular seat in the back and watched the tilt of the engine and the speed of the movement from behind the body of the driver.

At the driving school, I first got acquainted with motor sports, passed the exam for the Honda Hornet 600, and then immediately went to the World Wide Web to hunt for a motorcycle. A week later, my first engine was parked in the garage: a 600 Honda Hornet 2005.

Out in the rain, wearing jeans, helmet in one hand, keys to the new Suzuki V-Strom in the other. One last piece of advice on handing over the keys - and off you go. The first impression, the posture is straight, the feet are almost completely on the ground, I make the first bend and am amazed. Since I've only met a sporty Honda so far, I was very odd in the first corners when I turned the steering wheel and the front of the windshield motor stayed in place.

We got to know each other better on the way to Liya and back through the Besnitsa valley. The upright posture pleased me, while driving I felt lightness, I drove sovereignly in the corners. Changing from one gear to the next like clockwork, the controls are unique, and the large rearview mirrors gave me an idea of what was going on in the back. Since this was my first time riding a motorcycle with ABS, I was extremely excited. The only disappointment was the seat, as after two hours my back began to hurt. At the same time, I do not exclude the fact that I could sit incorrectly as a beginner.

Real poetry around the city, just the right big and strong beast.
