Perhaps the most popular and sought-after remedy among all products under the Reagent 3000 brand. The additive is simply poured into fresh oil. In this case, the motor is operated without any restrictions, that is, in normal mode. The positive effects of using the composition are as follows:
- restoration of microdamages in the most loaded friction pairs, which causes an increase and equalization of compression in the cylinders, and also reduces oil consumption for waste;
- reduction of the coefficient of friction in the mating surfaces, which favorably affects fuel consumption and wear rate;
- creation of a strong protective film in contact spots, as a result of which the probability of dry friction of metal on metal is reduced and the process of natural wear is slowed down.
The level of usefulness of the compounds depends on the individual characteristics of the motor, the degree of wear and the nature of the damage. The additive can only be added to mineral or semi-synthetic oils. When pouring the composition into pure synthetics, negative effects can be observed, such as accelerated sludge formation and a decrease in motor performance.
"Reagent 3000" for the fuel system
Additive for the fuel system "Reagent 3000" is poured into the tank before filling the fuel. The proportion is selected depending on the specific composition. For a standard additive, the dosage is 1 ml per 10 liters of fuel. Instructions for use are attached to each product of this brand.
There are several positive effects from the modifying additive "Reagent 3000" for fuel:
- the fuel system is gently cleaned of varnish formations with gradual removal;
- the fuel itself (regardless of whether it is gasoline or diesel) is normalized by metal ions, which reduces the likelihood of detonation;
- the fuel burning rate increases with a simultaneous decrease in the intensity of shock waves, that is, the engine power increases, and the load on it falls;
- due to more intense combustion, the formation of harmful substances, in particular nitrogen oxides, is reduced;
- fuel economy (manufacturer claims 25%);
- the load on the catalyst and the particulate filter is reduced, since the fuel burns more efficiently in the cylinders and practically does not fly into the exhaust system.
The additive can be used both one-time to clean the fuel system, and systematically to improve engine performance.
Other means
Among the protective and recovery complexes "Reagent 3000" there are several more interesting compositions.
- Additive for mechanical transmission. The principle of operation of this tool is similar to the effects of an additive in oil. A protective film forms on worn areas of gear teeth, splines and other loaded gearbox elements. This film partially restores contact spots, protects against corrosion and reduces the coefficient of friction.
- Additive "Reagent 3000" in power steering. Designed for preventive treatment of hydraulic booster with a solid operating time. Reduces friction in the power steering pump, softens hardened seals and rubber rings, forms a strong protective film on the metal surfaces of the pump and distributor. It is used only on new power steering oil.
- Additive for automatic transmission. This composition can only be used on classic machines (it is forbidden to pour into the Reagent 3000 variator for automatic transmission), designed for Dexron II and Dexron III ATF fluids. Reduces the noise of the box, normalizes the operation of the control hydraulics, and helps to extend the life. It is useless in the presence of mechanical damage in the box.
- Various cleaning products. Under the Reagent 3000 brand, flushes for engines, fuel lines and cooling systems are produced. Used once before filling with new technical fluids. After application, no additional flushing of systems is required.

And some even talk about the harmfulness of the compounds in question.
In fact, the beneficial effect depends on the nature of the damage, the characteristics of a particular node and the correct use of the additive. It is recommended to use Reagent 3000 formulations in the following cases:
- uniform development of any unit or unit without critical damage;
- quiet mode of operation of the car, with warm-ups and driving without torsion of the motor until the cutoff;
- the use of only one composition in one approach, without mixing with other means.
Additives "Reagent 3000", which have a restoring effect, cannot be used on new or fully serviceable motors (or other components). Here, pouring a restorative composition can even be harmful.
