The Turbo X is powered by a 2.8-liter turbocharged V6 engine and features Saab's Cross-Wheel-Drive technology, which allows torque to be distributed to both sides of the rear axle via an electronically controlled limited slip differential. stability control and traction control systems.

To optimize traction at launch, the Saab XWD includes rear-wheel pre-engagement, eliminating the need to detect front wheel slip before engaging rear-wheel drive.

It also has an active limited-slip rear differential; which can transfer up to 50 percent of the maximum rear torque between rear wheels that have ever had more grip.

The Turbo X also features a retuned suspension, an electronic chassis, special throttle and transmission settings, and distinct styling.

All cars will be black, while the front grille and all exterior details will be matte gray, reminiscent of titanium.

Up front, there is a deeper spoiler and integrated air intake, while at the rear, a reshaped bumper and inset panel lowers the airflow split point to reduce drag and improve vehicle stability at high speed.

The Sports Sedan features a rear spoiler that widens the trunk line, reducing high-speed lift at the rear axle, while the SportCombi has a similar spoiler that widens the rear roofline.

They sit on 18-inch three-spoke titanium-like alloys (19-inch are available as a factory option for $2250) and have diamond-shaped twin tailpipes.

The black theme continues in the cabin with black leather upholstery (premium upholstery costs $4000 extra), as well as carbon fiber panel, door inserts, glove box and shift console.
