It is attached to special clamps. Models Patriot 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 are equipped with an air conditioner that regulates the air temperature in the car.

The rear seats are equipped with airflow, which creates a certain comfort for passengers in winter and summer. UAZ Patriot is produced with air conditioning by the American company Delphi.

When and how often should you change?

The cabin filter is a consumable item that needs to be replaced after a certain period of time. According to the instructions, this part must be changed after 20 km of run. After restyling, the car received a carbon filter absorber (art. 316306810114040). To effectively clean the incoming air flow, many drivers install non-original spare parts, in particular, from companies such as TDK, Goodwill, Nevsky filter, Vendor, Zommer, AMD.

If you change the dirty filter in time, you can avoid the problem of the formation and accumulation of harmful bacteria in the air system of the UAZ Patriot and prevent the deterioration of the health of the driver and passengers.

How to replace the cabin filter with your own hands?

When traveling on highways, the cabin filter gradually becomes clogged, which sooner or later leads to unpleasant consequences. To avoid this, it is necessary to monitor the condition of the consumable and replace it in time. Changing the cabin filter on a UAZ Patriot is easy, it takes 10-15 minutes. In the car, depending on the year of manufacture, there are two different panels (old and new). From this, the replacement procedure is different. Prior to 2013, in order to remove the old wiper, the glove compartment (glove box) must be removed. For this:

1. The storage compartment opens and is cleared of everything superfluous.
2. Remove the protective cover.
3. Loosen the screws that secure the glove box with a Phillips screwdriver.
4. Remove the storage compartment.
5. The filter is held on a special bar-bridge screwed with 2 self-tapping screws. They unscrew, the bar is removed.
6. Now carefully remove the dirty filter so that the dust does not crumble.
7. Then install the new wiper by following the procedure in reverse order.

When installing a new consumable, pay special attention to the arrow on the product. Indicates the direction of the airflow. During installation, it is necessary to strictly observe the movement of air in the duct.
