The cheapest cars of 2013/2014

In many automotive publications, you can find ratings of the most affordable and popular budget cars. It is worth noting that the cheapness of a car hardly indicates its popularity, but rather the low income of the people who choose it, and, unfortunately, there are more such citizens in our country than those who can afford more expensive cars. However, the places at the end of 2013 were distributed approximately as follows:

Geely mk for 349 thousand rubles - a Chinese-made five-door hatchback, in the basic configuration it comes with a 1,5-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 94 horsepower and a 5-speed manual transmission, equipped with power steering, front-wheel drive with front independent suspension, a maximum speed of 160 km / hour, consumption - 6,5 liters of gasoline in the combined cycle;

Lifan breez for 335 thousand rubles - a four-door sedan or a 5-door hatchback, again from China with a 1,3-liter engine with 94 hp, 5-speed manual, front-wheel drive, power steering;

Lifan smily - a Chinese copy of MINI ONE, although it costs several times cheaper - 290 thousand rubles, a 4-liter 1,3-cylinder gasoline engine is used as a power unit, power - 86 hp, maximum speed - 150 km / h, but in terms of gasoline consumption, the Chinese twin MINI Cooper is more economical - 5 liters in the urban cycle, against 11-12 liters.

But two models from the Korean-Uzbek brand Daewoo are recognized as the cheapest and most popular:

Daewoo nexia - a sedan based on the platform of an old Opel Kadett, Nexia costs 282 thousand rubles;

Daewoo matiz, which will cost 247 thousand rubles, the popular Chevrolet Spark (416 thousand rubles) is also produced on its basis.

The above cars are very popular with ordinary buyers, although cheaper models can be found if desired:

Suzuki Marutti 800 - 165 thousand rubles;

Chery qq (almost an exact copy of Matiz) - 160 thousand rubles;

and the world's cheapest car from India - Tata Nano for 80 thousand rubles, its power is 30 hp, and the maximum speed is 100 km / h.

Of the domestic cars, the most affordable are:

WHA 2113 for 260-280 thousand rubles;

Updated Oka-3 for 250 thousand rubles.

I am glad that although our cars are more expensive than Chinese ones, they still remain popular not only in Russia, but also in the expanses of the former USSR.
