Seat reveals the price of its first electric scooter

Seat's first electric scooter, expected in 2021 in France, has just started selling in Spain, where prices have been officially announced.

If the health crisis is upsetting manufacturers' plans, that doesn't call into question Seat's involvement in the micromobility market. With its first series of electric scooters, the Spanish brand enters the electric scooter market with the Seat Mo E-Scooter. Classified in the 125 category, the car has been in use in a car sharing service in Barcelona for several weeks and is now preparing to go on sale in the Spanish market.

In terms of prices, the manufacturer reports a starting price of 6250 euros, which is a price equivalent to the Silence S01, whose technical platform it shares. If the price is enough to chill more than one, we hope the brand can offer interesting rental solutions.

Up to 95 km / h

The Seat MO electric scooter is equipped with an engine developing a peak power of up to 9 kW and a top speed of 95 km / h. Equipped with a 5.6 kWh removable battery, thanks to a smart trolley, it announces up to 125 kilometers of autonomous operation with charging.

In Spain, Seat's electric scooters will begin their first deliveries by the end of the year. French clients will have to be more patient with the marketing that is expected in 2021.
