Ball joint remover - overview
Not so long ago I was fiddling with one of the “classic” models and I had to carefully remove the ball joints so that they remained safe and sound. So, in this case, I decided to purchase a special puller. Since I usually order my instrument via the Internet, I wanted to buy a Jonnesway, but at that time there was no time to wait and I went to the nearest store to see what they offer.
In general, for 450 rubles I liked the Polish Vorel puller, although I don’t know how real Poland is, and I guess it’s unlikely. In general, the photo below shows this device:
As you can see, it did not last long. And it all ended with the fact that I tried to remove the ball balls with it, but my fingers were very stuck and a piece of the puller broke off and pierced my head a little. In general, immediately that day I took it to the store and there they made me a refund after short claims. I decided that I would not save on this anymore and still ordered Jonnesway, which I wanted.
It is similar in design to this one, but the quality of the metal is much stronger. After that incident, they had to dismantle the supports on 4 machines, and there were even more difficult moments than those of Vorel, but the metal turned out to be much stronger and coped with it.
I don’t even know what that puller would be made of, but at the break it looks like it’s cast iron. In short, it's not worth saving on this business, otherwise you will then walk like me with a broken head -)

Tell me where you ordered this tool. Is it suitable for the VAZ 2110?
