School supplies - for math, exams, tests

A diverse range of stationery stores, school supplies lists, school supplies ads popping up all over the place since the beginning of August – going back to school can be a real challenge… for parents! School supplies - the basis for a blouse 

The main components of the pencil case are: a pen or pen, a pencil and an eraser. This set will come in handy for most school activities throughout the 8 years.

Blue ballpoint pen or fountain pen 

A pen or pen is a basic item that should be in every student's backpack. If your child is just starting their writing adventure, they will need erasable pens. Some parents encourage their children to use a pen while learning to write. Thus, students have the opportunity to practice accurate calligraphy. When choosing a fountain pen for your child, consider his age and preferences. HB pencil, eraser and sharpener 

In the case of a pencil, the hardness of the graphite rod is most important. The most popular pencils are of medium hardness, labeled HB. They are ideal for drawing geometric shapes at every stage of learning, both in math lessons and on tests. For younger children, it is recommended to use a hex pencil with an eraser that is comfortable to hold.

To ensure that the pencil is always ready for drawing in the notebook, make sure that your child has a good pencil sharpener in his school kit. It is best to arm yourself with a model with a container in which the chips will collect when sharpening a pencil, for example, the IGLOO model, which is additionally equipped with two holes for pencils of different sizes. Sharpeners with a container will help keep the desk, desk and pencil case clean. Universal sharpeners with two holes are suitable for sharpening pencils and crayons of standard diameter, as well as slightly thicker.

Math accessories - what to put in a pencil case? 

Math is the undisputed queen of the sciences, so buying school supplies for this subject is an important item on the list. What does the student need in the lesson of this subject? Ruler, square and protractor will be useful in math lessons. It's best to buy the whole set at once. Older children will also need a compass.

School art supplies 

Art is a subject on which children train manual dexterity and develop creativity. Although the list of accessories for drawing lessons is long, most of them are also readily used by children on a daily basis at home. The basic set of art includes:

• pencil crayons – comfortable to hold in the hand, with intense and rich colors,
• poster and watercolors along with brushes of different thicknesses,

• scissors - for younger students, those with rounded ends are best suited,
• drawing and technical unit A4 format, white and color.

Other accessories needed for school are crepe paper, colored block paper, a school glue stick, or a tube. Paints require a glass of water. Choose the option with an overflow block and recesses in which it will be convenient for the child to put the brushes. In addition, a briefcase with an elastic band is useful for storing works of art, which over the years can become a wonderful souvenir.

Accessories for exams and tests - accessories for older students 

If a student comes to class for an advertised test or exam, he or she may only use a few supplies approved by the teacher or the examining board (in the case of an exam).

In mathematics, it is necessary to have a ruler, a compass and a simple calculator. Although a pencil is used for the test, all drawings during the exam (for example, the eighth grade exam) are done in pen. The exam is written with a ballpoint pen or black pen/ink pen. It is best to purchase a spare cartridge to avoid unpleasant surprises.

Cool school supplies for your child  

School supplies don't have to be boring! To stimulate your child's creativity and make them happy to reach for school supplies, it's worth equipping them with cool school gadgets. Pens with their favorite fairy tale character, glittery felt-tip pens, scented erasers with a fun shape or colorful unbreakable rulers – kids love them! Filling out the school worksheet with your child can be an opportunity to have a good time together while having fun.
