It is not recommended to wipe them with a damp cloth, as the black paint may peel off over time. It is best to use cotton napkins, and after a trip through the impenetrable dirty terrain, it is better to stop by the car wash, where they will clean not only the numbers, but also the car body itself.

There are also such unique ones on the track that can prove to you that very dirty license plates are punished tantamount to driving without license plates. The fine in this case is 10 times higher - 5000 rubles. In order not to argue for a long time and not prove your case, carry with you an updated version of the penalty table.

In any case, you can safely say that you left the house and everything was fine, but you were sprayed on the road by oncoming cars.
