If the driver parks incorrectly, or if he does not know how to parallel park and somehow places his car near the roadway at an angle to the sidewalk, then he may face a punishment under article 12.16 part 4 - 1500 rubles or 3000 in Moscow, as well as sending the car to the penalty area.
