Brake noise: causes and solutions

Signs of a brake problem

There are many signs of a brake problem, but we use our ears more than our eyes to detect a brake problem. You may hear a squeak (which may be continuous), dull, or squeak... Icy brake pads

They usually cause a squeal in the front brakes. The surface of the pad is as smooth as ice, so braking is no longer performed properly. This could be caused by poor lapping ... To fix this, you can sand the pads with an emery board. However, remember that you have certainly shortened the life of your brake pads, be on the lookout!

Tips: Invest in quality pads! This item is vital when riding a motorcycle, especially in the mountains. This is a long term investment. On the Internet, they cost about forty euros. You can then install them yourself.
