Alarm with feedback on Lada Grant

Immediately after buying Lada, Grants thought about ensuring safety for his car. I was very upset by the fact that the configuration is the norm, Lada Granta is not equipped with a standard anti-theft system, in addition to an immobilizer. For example, on Kalina, in the same configuration, a standard APS security system with a remote control on the ignition key is installed. The key fob, of course, is simple, with only three buttons: open the locks, close the locks, and a button for controlling the trunk lock. But it's still better than nothing.

But on the Lada Grant there is only one key, which is on the right in the picture above. So, I didn’t postpone the installation of the alarm for later, and immediately after buying the car I went to a car service, where they picked up a security system with feedback and with auto-start of the engine. Prices for car alarms are now different, from 2000 rubles and above, as they say - there is no limit to perfection. I didn’t take the cheapest one, especially since with these functions, like mine, there weren’t any cheap ones. The alarm system itself cost me 3800 rubles, and the installation was just over 1500 rubles.

After installing the alarm, I immediately checked everything so that all the locks and all other functions worked, I was especially interested in the remote engine start function from the alarm key fob. The locks all closed clearly, I tried to start the engine from the key fob - everything worked right away, the feedback also worked, in general, everything was connected to the conscience, all the functions that a modern car security system should perform, my alarm system performed.

The signal reception sensor was installed at the top of the windshield, just above the rearview mirror. The place is certainly not the most successful, but at any time you can move all this to another place. Why is this place not suitable, but because if you often leave the car in the heat in summer, then this sensor can come off, as it is attached to the adhesive tape. Although, if the tape and glue are of high quality, then there should be no problems with this.

Since I bought my car in winter, the engine autostart function was very useful. In the morning, when it was freezing outside until -35 ° C, remote launching was very useful. I woke up, pressed the autostart button on the key fob, and while you go out into the street, the car is already warmed up, you turn on the stove and in a minute the car is really hot. And the feedback is a very good and useful thing, you do not need to put on a loud alarm, that is, the external signal can be turned off altogether, the key fob beeps so that you can hear it throughout the apartment, even if it is hidden or littered with a bunch of things and is in another room. So, I am very pleased with my security system, which I installed on Lada Grantu, I do not regret the 5000 rubles that I spent on its purchase and installation. And the rest owners of Lada Grants I also advise you to do this, with a standard one is not an option.
