Sirena Sport takes shape

Sirena Sport takes shape The stylistic copy created by the producer of Zholodkova Gorka is quickly taking shape. With the 1:1 model, you can finally admire the life-size contours of the legendary car.

Live, and not just on computer visualization, Sirena Sport was compared during the presentation with the Fiat 124 Sport - Sirena Sport takes shapeconfirms that it fully deserves the title of "the most beautiful car from behind the Iron Curtain."

Work on the stylistic copy of Syrena Sport began 9 months ago with a search for source materials, photographs, plans and descriptions. Although technical documentation for this controversial vehicle did not exist at the time, perseverance and determination in searching archives and searching for photographs or publications yield valuable materials on the basis of which detail by detail is built. Sirena Sport takes shapecar replica. Specialists from Wroclaw, the Bojar Tuning company, were invited to the project. A base model Triumph Spitfire was bought and the wheelbase has been increased by 18 cm. Now it fits exactly the size of the Little Mermaid. Triumph also "borrowed" the 1500cc engine.

“The engine system is another problem we had to deal with, the designers of the original Syrena Sport lowered the hood to prevent the Syrena 101 engine from coming in, they wanted to force a modern four stroke engine. In our case, this is a forced understatement of the engine by 8 cm, replacement of the radiator and linings. Sirena Sport takes shapereducer so as not to disturb the angle of the engine,” says Jan Lukasiak, project coordinator,

The next stage of work is the creation of molds for the production of a car body based on the presented plaster model. Unfortunately, during the mold making process, the model has to be destroyed, and we will see the Syrena Sport in its entirety only at the last stage, after assembling all the elements of the car body.

It will be possible to drive a car in November, and follow the reports on the progress of the reconstruction on the website www.powrotlegendy.pl.
