Especially for Enduro // Test Husqvarna FE 250 2020 Special R-Tech

With this in mind, we engaged a Husqvarna MotoXGeneration dealer to create a race car that can withstand the toughest tests. They took excellently as a basis IP 250 year 2020, a special enduro that impressed us on trials in Slovenia with its lightness, exceptionally good and precise handling, as well as an engine that, despite a displacement of only 250 cc and a four-stroke technique, is capable of delivering enough power and torque to go to the field. very fast. For a little more power and above all for even more torque, which gives the engine more flexibility, we have equipped Husqvarna with the latest Akrapovič damper, which is also lighter than the original and thanks to a special innovative production technology, which is also more resistant to shock. For better engine contact and control, we've fitted lightweight, luxurious aluminum pedals with improved grip and transmission, as well as an aluminum rear brake lever and accessories for better grip. We also can't ignore the R-Tech arm, engine, front and rear brake disc protectors and rear suspension “suspension” protections that won't get damaged even by accidentally hitting a stone or log.

Since the bottom of the engine is 360 millimeters from the ground, the cannon is not such a common problem, but in an area where there are sharp rocks, the linkage system quickly fails and more serious damage can occur over time.

Ease in all driving conditions

When it comes to riding, Husqvarna deserves a top five clean, it is by far the most equipped and complete motorcycle I have ridden as standard of all enduro bikes and is perfect for fun and relaxation. The essence of this great driving experience lies in the engine, which will bring improved mass centralization from 2020. The engine itself is very light, weighing no more than 27,6 kg. It reacts well directly to gas additions, which provides surgical precision thanks to a very well functioning hydraulically controlled clutch and therefore also accelerates slightly on slopes where grip is slightly better. Some small power is only depleted on really long and steep descents, where the old rule of “no replacement for displacement” is known, or, in our opinion, there is no real replacement for engine displacement. However, for a novice driver, it is still the best choice, because he will learn the correct driving technique with a smaller engine. Progress in knowledge will also be faster, since this engine does not punish mistakes like a 450cc car. Cm.

Another opinion about a motorcycle for extreme lovers. 300 cc two-stroke engine Cm is definitely even better, after all, a 250cc four-stroke. The CM doesn't achieve that mass-to-power ratio, and above all, it lacks the pure torque that a two-stroke, three-stroke engine has. The FE 250 is a great choice for enduro rides where you face any type of terrain, and also occasionally on a motocross track. Because it's not heavy in the hands and because the suspension does an excellent job, it's surgically precise and fun even at higher speeds, where it surprises with power despite its smaller volume. It also surprised the fast macadams where at full throttle it also catches the two-stroke 250 where most of the power is lost due to the rear wheel turning into neutral. After a few hours of driving, the FE 450 rider gets tired of less than 500 or XNUMX cubic meters, and in the hands of a good driver, even a quick lap around a motocross or enduro special track is not difficult to do.
