CAR COMPARISON: The World's Range of Electric Vehicles - Current, Past and Future Vehicles [DIAGRAM]

We decided to collect on one graph the real lines of electric vehicles we know on a single charge. Most of these were measured in mixed mode by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and represent well the distance a battery-powered vehicle can travel in normal mixed mode.

Note that the numbers are real, but average. When driving in winter, the power reserves will be less. When driving in the city or eco-driving, we can easily cover the distance exceeding the one shown in the diagram.

For ease of viewing, we have divided the car comparison into eight images. We used the following color codes:

• diagonal shading - uncertain, estimated and promised data,
• indigo (dark blue) - Tesla,
• indigo dots - Tesla Model 3,
• purple - Kia,
• purple - Hyundai,
• intense red - Renault,
• brick red - Nissan,
• black - Volkswagen (diesel;),
• blue - BMW,
• bile - Chinese brands, including Zhidou and BYD,
• aquamarine - offspring, Toyota,
• gray - Mercedes,
• light gray - different brands: Peugeot, e.GO (shaded only),
• lime - Citroen,
• green - smart,
• very light blue - Mini,
• blue - Ford,
• golden orange - Chevrolet.
