Home Charging Cost

Tariff G11: from PLN 22,8 to the full amount

Assuming that the average cost of 1 kilowatt-hour (kWh) of energy in a typical household is PLN 57, then the cost of charging a Nissan Leaf at home is 40 kWh * 0,57 PLN = 22,8 PLN... At the same time, we do not take into account losses during charging (a few percent).

A full battery is enough to drive about 243 kilometers, real cost of travel 100 km 22,8 / 2,43 = 9,4 PLN, which is equivalent to about 2 liters of gasoline.

Anti-smog tariff G12as: from PLN 13 to full (for 2 days)

In anti-smog tariffs, we can use the reduced rate per kilowatt-hour as part of the consumption _ higher_ than in the previous billing period. The preferential rate is valid from 22: 6 to XNUMX: XNUMX.

> Current prices for electric vehicles in Poland [Dec 2018]

If our energy producer is PGE Obrót and our supplier is PGE Dystrybucja, we will receive a rate of PLN 22 per 6 kWh (production + distribution + quality indicator) during the hours of 0,3239-1. Since the Nissan Leaf (2018) is charging from a socket with a maximum output of 2,76 kilowatts (230 volts * 12 amps), we will charge 22 kWh of energy in 6-22,08 hours. Slightly more than half the battery.

A full charge of the battery will cost us PLN 12,956. This means that the fare for 100 km is 12,956 / 2,43 = 5,33 PLN. This is the equivalent of 1,1 liters of fuel.

Cost at high-speed charging stations for electric vehicles

Greenway charging stations: PLN 70-75,6 in full, but ...

The cost of fully charging the Nissan Leaf 2 will be from 70 to 76 PLN, provided that we manage to fit in the first 45 minutes, because from the 46th minute an additional fee of 40 PLN is charged. For every minute of landing. ...

If we go to the station and decide to charge the car within 30 minutes, we will replenish about 21 kWh of the battery, which means a cost of 39,7 PLN. This will give us an additional 128 kilometers of range.
