SunTree, a unique concept for recharging electric vehicles with the sun

A completely different urban installation - SunTree (literally sun tree in French) is solar charging solution adapted to recharge restrictions electric vehicles.

The SunTree, Solarquest Electric Charger

SunTree, created in France by Solarquest, is a new concept that combines a carport and a dedicated charging system for electric vehicles in one setup. The SunTree roof, which can accommodate up to 6 cars, is equipped with several high-efficiency photovoltaic panels. Thus, these quality solar modules ensure the production of electricity required for the operation of the installation.

The charging system, integrated into the SunTree chassis, features standard charging stations and a radio frequency identification (RFID) controlled interface. This system, connected to a special Internet portal, allows you to quickly control the authorization of access to the charging station.

SunTree: models adapted to the urban environment

To optimize plant efficiency, Solarquest has developed three different SunTree models. The largest of these, the SunTree WR and SunTree WS, carry up to 4 chargers and are designed to accommodate vehicles with 2 or 4 wheels respectively under their 6,10 m diameter circular platform and 7 m square ceiling next to them.

SunTree Street is a model designed for any public or private space offering electric vehicle charging services. SunTree Wall, the simplest model, consists of a charging wall interface that can be installed in any corner as long as it is connected to a set of photovoltaic modules.
